Executive Board and Supervisory Board of Knorr-Bremse AG, world market leader for brake systems and a leading supplier of other subsystems for rail and commercial vehicles, propose to the Annual General Meeting a dividend of 1.75 euros per share for the 2018 financial year.

This would correspond to a payout ratio of just 45% of consolidated net income of EUR 629.4 million or earnings per share of EUR 3.68. In the medium to long term, Knorr-Bremse plans to distribute 40% to 50% of its consolidated net income to shareholders, in line with its already announced dividend policy, given stable general conditions and attractive business prospects.

The Annual General Meeting will take place on June 18, 2019 in Munich.
